NSIENKENGWE’ REFAIT SURFACE !
On a toujours affirmé que Nufi était comme un feu de coques de palmistes et certains en doutaient. On le croit éteint définitivement, alors qu’il couve sous les cendres. D’où lui est venu ce nouveau souffle ? De la volonté acharnée de ses derniers fans. C’est les mêmes qui se battent pour maintenir NUFI à flot. Ils s’appellent Professeur SADEMBOUO Etienne, linguiste, membre du Directoire NUFI ; DAKAYI KAMGA Thomas, Président du Directoire NUFI ; EMAKO François, Trésorier du Directoire, NJOMKAM Joseph Aimé, Commissaire aux comptes. Voilà ceux qui dirigent le mouvement culturel NUFI, au Cameroun. Nul, à l’extérieur, ne devrait se réclamer légitimement membre de Nufi, sans être lié à eux.
Les statuts prescrivent d’ériger des Directoires régionaux. Le Directoire National s’appuie davantage sur les membres du Directoire Régional de Yaoundé, qui depuis des années tient ses réunions le premier mardi de chaque mois. Aux vétérans TCHIAPPI Sébastien, KAMENI Joseph Lebon, NGANTCHEU Maurice, GHEDAGUE Joseph , se sont joints des plus jeunes LEMESSI Lambert, HYOMENI Paul Guy, DJOMENI Gabriel, mafʉ MOUGOM Geneviève, etc. Les autres Directoires régionaux manquent d’animateurs dynamiques.
Avec cette structure, nous avons publié et distribué l’Agenda Nufi 2015, lancé le site internet Nufi et nous relançons Nufi Nsiekengwe’. Tant que nous aurons un souffle de vie, nous continueront, en mémoire du fondateur Tchamda François Marie et de tous les pionniers, de nos camarades Tchabok Raphael, Tchapé Jean Bosco, Sa’fu Nga’sseu Michel.

Nufi se souvient de cette chanson bien connue des Haut-Nkamois : « je me croyais définitivement abandonné, et voilà qu’on me couvre de fleurs ». Nufi attend son heure de gloire ! Alors, tout le peuple Haut-Nkam le couvrira de fleurs ; il aura ses milliers de supporters, sa station de radio FM, son atelier d’artisanat, ses manifestations culturelles, et bien d’autres moyens d’action.

NUFI NSIENKENGWE IS ALIVE !
They use to say that Nufi is a fire fed by palm kernel. You think that it is extinguished, but it continues to burn under the ash. How is it possible that Nufi recovers her breath this way? It is due to the fierce will of its last fans. They are the ones who have been fighting, year after year, to keep Nufi going. They are members of the National Directory : Menkam DAKAYI KAMGA Thomas, President; Pr SADEMBOUO Etienne, linguist, Vice President; Mr EMAKO François, Treasurer, and Mr DJOMKAM Joseph Aimé, Auditor. These are those who manage the institution. Legally, nobody can claim to be a member or a branch of Nufi without being connected to this Board.
By Our rules and regulations, regional Directories should be set up in the Regions in Kamerun and abroad . The National Directory relies on these regional structures. For now, Yaoundé Regional Directory is the more active one, animated by senior members: Tchiappi Sébastien, Kameni Joseph Lebon, Ngantcheu Maurice Ghedague Joseph, and some younger and dynamic ones: Mrs Mougom Geneviève, Lemessi Lambert, Hyomeni Paul Guy and some others.
We lack human resources, to reinforce our structure and develop our activities. Nevertheless, we were able to publish Nufi calendar for 2015, to build our web site, reactivate Nufi Nsienkengwe’. So long as we shall be alive, we will maintain this effort, with the aim to pay tribute to our deceased members: Father TCHAMDA François Marie, Father TCHAPE jean Bosco, TCHABOK Raphael, Sa’fu NGASSE Michel, to mention a few.
Nufi believes on these words from a local song : « I thought I was definitely abandoned, then I was covered with flowers and gifts » ! Nufi expects her hour of glory to come, when the people of Hant-nkam, from inside and abroad, will cover her with flowers; will increase her followers ten folds, offer her a radio station, a workshop for teaching handicraft works, finance her festivals, and many more.
