Certains haut-nkamois ont négligé leur langue et leur culture, mais pas tous. Un des nôtres, émigré en Korée, y consacre toutes ses forces. Il s’appelle Tchamna’ Rodrigue. Il a mené des études avancées couronnées par un Doctorat en génie mécanique. Il maitrise aussi l’informatique, le web et endroïd. Il vient de nous rendre visite ici au Cameroun, pour présenter à ses frères que nous sommes, ses oeuvres pour la survie de sa langue maternelle fe’efe’e et d’autres langues africaines. Ces oeuvres sont déjà consistantes, mais d’autres sont attendues. Sa philosophie se résume à réhabiliter toutes les langues minoritaires africaines en péril, en commençant par la sienne. Cela consiste à mettre à la disposition de tout africain des outils d’apprentissage de leur langue maternelle. C’est également l’ambition que Nufi nourrit dépuis l’origine. Les pouvoirs publics camerounais ont décidé d’encourager l’enseignement des langues maternelles dans les établissements scolaires. Mais où trouveront suffisamment d’enseignants pour la multitude d’établissements et la multitude de langues nationales ? Nufi s’efforce de former des enseignants pour les besoins des écoles qui le sollicite. Mais sa production ne représente rien par rapport aux énormes besoins locaux et de l’étranger. Rodrigue nous a fourni un raccourci : passer par le web. Il a eu l’idée d’y diffuser des leçons pour permettre à chacun d’apprendre sa langue seul sans recours à un enseignant. Pour cela, il a consacré de nombreuses années de recherche. Voilà la bonne nouvelle.

For native language to survive : yes, we can !
Must of the natives of Upper Nkam have neglected their language and culture, but not all. One of us, emigrated to Korea, devoted all his strength to it. His name is Tchamna ‘Rodrigue. He conducted advanced studies with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He is also fluent in computer science, web and endroïd.
He has just visited us here in Cameroon, to show his brothers that we are his works for the survival of his mother tongue and other African languages. These works are already consistent, but others are expected. His philosophy is to rehabilitate all African minority languages at risk, starting with his own. This is to make available to all Africans tools to learn their mother tongue. It is also the ambition that Nufi feeds from the beginning. The Cameroonian authorities have decided to encourage the teaching of mother tongues in schools. But where will there be enough teachers for the multitude of institutions and the multitude of national languages? Nufi endeavors to train teachers for the needs of the schools that solicit it. But its production does not represent anything in comparison with the enormous needs of local and foreign countries. To get there, Rodrigue provided us with a shortcut: go through the web. He had the idea of disseminating lessons in order to allow each one to learn his language alone without recourse to a teacher. For this, he devoted many years of research. That’s the good news !
