incredible but true
What does death claim to the NUFI Cultural Association? Two deaths one after another, is that normal ? Not long ago, we went to Bafang to bury Lemessi Lambert, Secretary General of the Nufi regional section of Yaounde. Two weeks later, on the night of 03 to 04 April 2018, Dr. KAMENI GOUABEU Joseph nicknamed « le Bon » passed away. He was the treasurer of Nufi Association in Yaounde. Just a year ago, April 1st 2017, he presided the NUFI General Assembly in Bafang.
We are announcing his funeral to be held on May 05, 2018.
The almost simultaneous death of the Secretary General and the Treasurer, is it a malediction or bad luck. Fate has decided so. It only remains for us to wipe the tears of the family of the deceased, and pray God to welcome him into his kingdom, pry Him to send other talented workers to reinforce Nufi as “Lebon” was doing.
After long university studies in Paris, “Le Bon” graduated from the french university in sociology and ethnology (behavior of particular community”. These are the sort of studies that could help NUFI deepen the knowledge of our traditionnal activities and behavior, in view of better orientate our futureway of leaving.
After long university studies in Paris, « Le Bon » obtained a degree in sociology, then a PhD in ethnology. These types of studies were adequate to help NUFI in deepening of the knowledge of our traditional activities and behaviors, in order to better orient our future way of life in the current context.
