Rien ne sert de courir … Nufi poursuite sa route ! ! ! Il y a plus de vingt ans, les pères fondateurs de l’Association culturelle Nufi, ont passé le relais à une nouvelle génération de jeunes prêtres éduqués et formés sous leur ombre. Le charisme de ces derniers n’était pas à la hauteur de celui des prédécesseurs et la hiérarchie de l’Eglise ne leur facilita pas la tâche. En 2009-2010, le Congrès NUFI passa le flambeau à une équipe dirigeante composée de laïcs, qui instaura un mode de gestion collégial, sous forme de Directoire. Le Directoire initia un diagnostic externe en vue de mettre en relief les faiblesses managériales. L’isolement de l’Association émergea comme la plus importante faiblesse, avant même la pénurie de ressources : Nufi fonctionnait en vase clos, sans associer les autres parties prenantes impliquées dans les différents aspects du développement culturel. Le diagnostic recommanda un plan organisationnel centré sur la recherche des ressources internes et externes, mais surtout sur l’ouverture aux catégories socio-culturelles, concernées ou désireuses de promouvoir la langue fe’efe’e et la culture des peoples du Haut-Nkam. Le Congrès de 2017 valida le plan organisationnel et adopta la résolution ferme d’ouvrir NUFI à l’ensemble des héritiers du même patrimoine linguistique et culturel. L’ouverture n’aura de sens que si les organes de gestion étaient accessibles à tous. Ces organes sont l’Assemblée Générale (en lieu et place du congrès), le Conseil d’Administration (nouveau) et le Bureau Exécutif (en lieu et place du Directoire). Où en sommes-nous aujourd’hui ? Le Conseil d’Administration (C.A.) a tenu sa première session le 20/01/2018; Il a adopté les statuts révisés de l’Association et a élu son Président M. Tchomtchoua Djajo Charles (Maire de Banwa) et M. Noucti Tchokwago (homme d’affaires). Y sont représentés toutes les catégories sociologiques impliquées dans l’animation et la promotion de la langue et de la culture : chefs traditionnels, parlementaires et maires des communes, élites, confessions religieuses, représentants des régions, artistes, représentants de chorales et danses traditionnelles, etc. Le C.A. vient d’élire un Bureau Exécutif national, qui remplace désormais le Directoire à compter du 14/12/2019, date de son installation. Il est présidé par M. DAKAYI KAMGA Thomas. La restructuration a introduit s’élargit aux régions et à la diaspora qui seront dotées d’organes régionaux, à savoir : une assemblée générale régionale, un Conseil d’Administration régional, un Bureau Exécutif régional; ainsi se manifeste une volonté de décentralisation et de partage des responsabilités. Comme on le sait, Nufi a connu, dans le passé, ses heures de gloire. C’était l’ère de l’alphabétisation qui fit passer la langue fe’efe’e de l’oralité à l’écriture. Elle a eu son couronnement avec le Prix d’Alphabétisation NOMA de l’Unesco. Aujourd’hui, l’Association s’est assigné deux missions d’égale importance ;
A terme, le développement socio-économique y trouvera sa place. Don’t worry, take your time ! Nufi is moving FORWARD! Over twenty years ago, the founding fathers of the Nufi Cultural Association passed the baton to a new generation of young priests educated and trained under their shadow. The charisma of the latter did not match that of the predecessors and the hierarchy of the Church did not facilitate their task. In 2009-2010, the NUFI Congress passed the torch to a management team made up of lay people, who established a collegial mode of management, in the form of a Directory. The Directory initiated an external diagnosis with a view to identifying managerial weaknesses. The isolation of the Association emerged as the most important: Nufi operated in a vacuum, without involving the other stakeholders involved in the various aspects of cultural development. The diagnosis recommended an organizational plan centered on the search for internal and external resources, but especially on the opening to the socio-cultural categories, concerned or wishing to promote the fe’efe’e language and the culture of the people of Haut-Nkam. The 2017 Congress validated the organizational plan and adopted the firm resolution to open NUFI to all legatees of the linguistic and cultural heritage. Openness would only make sense if the management bodies were accessible to everyone. These bodies are the General Assembly (in place of the congress), the Board of Directors (new) and the Executive Board (in place of the Directory). Where are we today ? The Board of Directors (B.D.) held its first session on 01/20/2018; It adopted the revised statutes of the Association and elected its chairman, Mr TCHOMTCHOUA DJADJO Charles and vice chairman Mr NOUCTI TCHOKWAGO. In this organ, all the sociological categories involved in the animation and promotion of the language and culture are represented: traditional chiefs, parliamentarians and mayors of the municipalities, representatives Cameroon regions, elites, religious authorities, artists, representatives of choirs and dance groups, etc. The B.D. has just elected a National Executive Bureau, which now replaces the Directory from 14/12/2019, the date of its installation. The Bureau is chaired by Mr Thomas DAKAYI KAMGA. The restructuring include the creation of regional bodies composed of a Regional General Assembly, a Regional Board of Directors, a Regional Executive Office; this is reflected in a desire to decentralize and share responsibilities. These organs are operational in the Yaoundé region As you know, Nufi has known its heyday in the past. It was the era of literacy that brought the fe’efe’e language, from only speaking to writing.
